These cities offer the right environment to raise a family, enjoy sporting activities, fine dining, the arts and recreation. The home of Sonoma State University and nearly 50,000 people, the cities are designed for living.

Rohnert Park with its bike-ways and walkways connecting tree lined boulevards offers you attractive residential neighborhoods. Each neighborhood is designed around a park and an elementary school. Two beautiful 18 hole municipal golf courses offer plentiful opportunity to improve your golf game. Youth sports are offered for boy and girls. The Spreckles Performing Arts Center hosts outstanding musical reviews and plays plus the California's Junior Miss Program and more.

Cotati, an older community, was home to alternative music and attracted those seeking alternative lifestyles during much of the 20th century. As the regional population grew, however, it incorporated and created a slow growth policy. However, music continues to be an important element of the communities well-being, as the city enjoys an infusion of local talent and a larger base from the nearby college. Annually the City hosts a very enjoyable Accordian Festival.
The cities are surrounded by farms and grazing land, where nationally sought after organic and boutique vegetables, fruits and cheeses are grown and produced.
Climate here tends to be warm during the day and cool at night as moist marine air from the ocean moderates temperatures.
Rohnert Park and Cotati are located in Sonoma County's southern plain between Petaluma and Santa Rosa. This area is within the Mexican land grant known as Rancho Cotate. Real Estate in the area varies from rural to suburban.
